There are slightly more than 60 college women’s water polo programs in the country. That’s why knowing what level of competition you’re best suited for is an important part of the water polo recruiting process. NCSA’s water polo recruiting guidelines can help you decide what schools you’re most likely to receive a water polo scholarship from.
Water polo scholarships are scarce, and finding out as much as you can about the recruiting process is extremely important. Knowledge is an important tool for every women’s water polo recruit.
Grades: 3.0+, 24 ACT/1200 SAT
Level 1: NCAA - Division I
- Recomendación: Experience in junior Olympic qualification, member of a Zone team.
- Times: <22.00, 50m freestyle y <54.00, 100m freestyle
Level 2: División II, III and NAIA
- Recommendation: Experience in junior Olympic qualification, member of a Zone team.
- Times: <22.00, 50 freestyle and <54.00, 100m freestyle
Level 3: Junior College
- Recommendation: Experience as a member of a team.
- Times: <22.00, 50m freestyle y <48.00, 100m freestyle.
